Ms. Wyzella Rhodes (Johnson) Williams was born May 2nd, 1950 in Greenville, S.C. She departed her earthly life on Sunday morning March 23rd, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Wyzo and Ollie Mae (Sullivan) Rhodes.
As a child she attended Sweet Cannon Baptist Church. In later years she attended Pilgrim Rest, Rock Hill #2 and MT. Emmanuel Baptist Churches.
She was a 1969 Graduate of Sterling High School.
A loyal employee of Kemet Electronics for nearly 20 years. After Retiring she enjoyed severals years as a member of the WYFF-4 Family until declining health.
She was the 1st Queen of VFW post # 6734 and was very active in the chapter for over 25 years.
She was predeacesed by her late husband J.W. Williams Jr and one step-son Carlos A. Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Mrs. Clarissa (Richey) Mosley of Charolette, NC. Two sons Dr. Christopher E. Johnson of Atlanta GA/ Washington D.C., Jatoya T. Williams of Greenville SC. One step-son Rico (lachendra) Williams of Greenville SC. Two Granddaughters, Ms. Cassandra L. Johnson of Charolette NC, Mrs. Jessica L. (Demetre) Coley of honalulu, HI and one greatgrandson Derick King Coley. One sister Claudia Mae Lewis of Easley SC.
