Woodrow Wilson Hester Jr.

Woodrow Wilson Hester Jr. of Clinton, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcelle Hester; his step-son James Taylor; and his brothers Jerry Hester and Ted Hester. Woodrow is survived by his step-son Charles Taylor (Lisa), step-daughter Anne Shealy (Al); his brother, Tony Hester; and his niece Tammy Bright.

Woodrow was a natural born entertainer. He loved to tell stories to anyone who would listen - and boy could he spin a story! He also loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and the Gamecocks. Woodrow was always smiling - his signature greeting was a quick smile and nod. When asked a pressing question, he would alway defer to his niece, saying "ask Sissy". He loved food - especially Grover's banana pudding.
