Wilton Clyde “ Frog “ White, 76, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Patewood Rehabilitation in Greenville. Born on November 2, 1941 in Simpsonville, South Carolina to his parents, Ernest Clyde White and Ruby (Lott) White, he was a lifelong resident of the upstate and he worked for and retired as a card fixer in the textile industry where he worked for Ashworth Brothers in Greenville. He will be remembered as a kind hearted man, a loving husband, father and grandfather and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and doing woodwork.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lottie Mae White and his daughter, Connie Starrett and his siblings. This who will most cherish his memory are his children, Larry Redding and his wife, Pam, Rickey Redding and his wife, Jean, Nancy Theis, Michael David Redding, Steve Redding, Diane Sizemore and her husband, David, Janet Halstead and her husband, Rudy, Keith Holiday and his wife, Becky and Teresa Pollard; his son in law, Mark Starrett; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Services to remember and honor Mr. White’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Agape Baptist Church, 198 Newcut Road, Piedmont, South Carolina 29673. A gathering of Mr. White’s family will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the church. Rite of Committal and Entombment will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 3, 2018 in the Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville.
