William George "Bill" Wells Jr.

Mr. William George "Bill" Wells Jr., 59, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Greenville Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Mr. Wells was born October 22, 1963 in Clinton, S.C. to Williams G. Wells Sr. and Barbara Jean Heaton Fullbright. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Barbara, and sister, Carol Beaman. He is survived by his three sons, Michael Wells of Belton, Wesley Wells and wife, Rebekah, of Clinton and Jake Armstrong of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Christopher Wells and Remington Claire Wells; three brothers, Rea Wells and wife, Kim, of Laurens , Rob Wells and wife, Michelle, of North Carolina and Warren Wells of Mississippi, one sister Judith Laengerer-Wells and husband, Manfred Langerer, of Innsbruck, Austria; many nieces and nephews and one special aunt, Magdalene Heaton.
Bill lived most of his life in South Carolina, which he called home, and spent 11 years in North Carolina working for McPhail Church Services. Bill's favorite way to spend his free time was fishing. He also loved go-cart racing and being at the racetrack with his sons.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life are being made at this time and will be announced to family and friends.
