William Hale Vickery

William Hale Vickery, Sr. died December 30, 2024, in Simpsonville, SC—wife of Georgie Smith Vickery.  Mr. Vickery was born in Greenville, SC to the late William Hightower and Emma Hale Vickery. 

He graduated from Parker High School and Furman University in Greenville, SC. He served as an officer in the US Army Air Defense Artillery and enjoyed a long successful career in Sales and Management throughout the United States.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, William Vickery, Jr. and Joseph Vickery (Kristin), five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are his brother, David Vickery (Lind), six nephews, and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Susan Vickery Burns and Willa Vickery McMahan.
