Born and lived for many years in Miami, Fl. Resided in Central, SC. He passed away peacefully early Monday. He was employed with Formrolls of Six Mile, SC. Prior to working at Formrolls he was employed with Griffin Racing Radiators of Anderson, SC. He was the son of Robert Howard Truax and Alma Lillian Hanna Truax of Miami, FL. Predeceased by a sister Sarah Elizabeth Keaton of Homestead, FL. Survived by sister Cynthia Robertson of Greenville, SC. Sister Dorothy Keen of Jacksonville, FL. Sister Kathleen Barber of Lake City,FL. Brother Robert Truax Jr of Maryville, Tn. And many nieces and nephews. He was an avid racing and sports enthusiast, racing at Hialeah Speedway and West Palm Beach, FL. He also raced at Greenville Pickens Speedway, Anderson Speedway, and the immediate area. Clemson Tiger supporter and also enjoyed water and snow skiing. He was a kind and generous person. A true friend. Memorial gathering will be held at 2 PM, Friday February 3 at Westville Funerals. 6010 White Horse Rd. Greenville, SC 29611
