William Steading

William Clarence Steading, 66, of Greer, SC passed from this life on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at St. Francis in Greenville, SC. Born on December 5, 1950 in Greenville, SC to his parents, Clarence Steading and Letha Canty. William is preceded in death by his father Clarence Willis Steading and grandson Kaleb Butler of Pelzer. Those who treasure his memory are his mother Letha Inez Canty, his brother Curt Steading (Amy) of Greer, his two daughters Emilie Butler (Matt) of Pelzer and Jessica Williams (Chad) of Campobello, and his grandchildren Kaleb Butler, Kaylie Butler and Riley Butler of Pelzer and Cole Williams and Cade Williams of Campobello, his uncles Frank Steading of Greer and Alvin Steading of Greer, his cousin Jerry Steading of Greer. Services will be on August 24th at Crossroads Baptist Church Visitation starts at 5:00 pm and service is at 6:00 pm the address is 705 Anderson Ridge Road Greer, SC 29657.
