Mr. William Ralph Ring Jr.

Mr. William Ralph Ring Jr. passed away at his home in Greenville, SC Monday, December 17th, 2018. He was born Saturday, July 10th, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to his parents; the late William Ralph Sr. and Julia Elizabeth Huff Ring.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife; Verna Davis Ring, his children; Bonita Boss, Melissa Hill (Danny), and Timothy Ring, his grandchildren; Ian Herbert, Leslie Ring, Nikao Hebert, Christopher Hebert (Paula), Suzanne Watkins (Ryan), Jonathan Ring (Amber), his great grandchildren; Kiernan Herbert, Aaron Herbert, Sydnee Watkins, Rylee Watkins, Parker Rigney, Gavin Watkins, Cooper Ring, Carter Ring, his brother; Charles Benson Ring, and his former daughter-in-law; Diana Ring.
Mr. Ring was a proud WWII veteran of the United States Navy. A gifted artist and craftsman who had an eye for landscape design. He was involved in the startup of the Mexico City College of Art. He was employed by the Bob Jones University where he worked in the paint department helping to beautify the campus. His art and the furniture he created demonstrate the “Attention To Detail” that was engrained in him from his time in Navy.
Besides his parents, Mr. Ring was predeceased by his brother; James Ring.
