William J C Redding

William J C Redding, 56 of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born on May 2, 1962 in Marietta, South Carolina to his parents, Robert Redding and Mary Lee ( Holt ) Redding, he was a lifelong resident of the upstate and he worked as a Farmer in the Agricultural Industry. When not spending time at the farm, he enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his dogs, Sam, Puppy Love and Crystal.

J C is preceded in death by his father and his wife, Margaret Redding. Those who will most cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Lee Raines and her husband, Joe of Greenville; his daughter, Brittany N. Redding; his stepson, Toby; his sisters Catherine Jean Redding of Easley, SC, Brenda Mae Chimera and her husband, David of Greenville, SC; his step brothers, Michael and Joe Yearwood. J C is also survived by many members of his extended family and friends.

Funeral services to remember and honor J C’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 31, 2018 in the Chapel of Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611. A gathering of J C’s family and friends for a time of sharing and reflection will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Brenda Chimera, J C’s sister, 103 Y.M.C.A. Street, Greenville, SC 29611.
