Mr. William Charles “Buddy” Miller

August 31, 1948 — November 10, 2018

William Charles “Buddy” Miller, of Greenville passed away November 10, 2018. He was the son of the late Julius Bynam Miller and Billie Dolen Miller of Enka NC.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Robin Godwin Miller, his brother Chip Miller of Bowling KY., his sister Beth Melton, of Jacksonville, FL., his 6 children: Dawn Buddenhagen, Penny Arrington, Lydia Rollins, Ronnie Daniel, Kenneth Miller, and Jaybee Sloan Miller “Slider,” 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was a Military Veteran serving in the Navy. In his youth he was involved in youth sports and was a tremendous and much-loved coach. During Mr. Millers later, years he transitioned from coaching sports to coaching artistic youth and mentally challenged.
Mr. Miller enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His other interest in life where fishing, hiking, camping, and sports. Especially the Atlanta Falcons!
Mr. Miller will be missed and loved always. His claim to fame was that he was “The Worlds Biggest Falcon’s Fan” and of course Robert Redford’s stunt double. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday in the Chapel of Westville Funeral Home.
