William Michael Lathem

William Michael "Mike" Lathem, 68, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025. Born on March 13, 1956, Mike was a man defined by his loving nature, unwavering faith, and remarkable handiness.

Dedicated to his family, he is survived by his beloved spouse Sandra Lathem, daughters Lauren Reaves (Matt) and Megan Gentry (Drew), grandchildren Karson, Maybree, Harper, and Hank, and sisters Carolyn Musselwhite, Karen Hill, Ann Hooker and, Louise Lathem. He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Patsy Lathem.

Mike's career spanned many years as a lineman for Duke Power and later in construction with Bonitz Construction, where he became a valued member of the community before his retirement. His passions included singing, joining missions through Camp Cheraw, and bringing his woodworking creations to life. Mike will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a pillar of strength and love in the lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Cheraw or the Reaching Center at Berea First Baptist.

His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11am at Berea First Baptist Church.
