William Rusty "Rusty" Galt

William Russell (Rusty) Galt, 56, passed away on Oct.17, 2021.
Graduated from Spartan High in 1983 and was employed by Bishop Lawn & Landscape. Rusty loved everything Nature-related, especially fishing, creepy crawlies, and has always loved Snakes. He was an Eagle Scout as well.
Rusty was always quick to help out a friend and give them a hand.
He took a while to find himself, but in the last couple of years,
he had really found a good groove and was doing amazingly - except when his asthma and COPD would take their grip on his health. Rusty never wanted any sympathy and always seemed to be up and atom the next day after his breathing treatments.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Galt, and siblings: Rosemary Galt of Spartanburg and Hutch Galt (Beth) of Charleston and his daughter: Megan Elizabeth Galt of Chesnee. He was predeceased by his father, Tom T. Galt, and son, Matthew Taylor Galt. Memorial service at Greenlawn
Cemetery on Saturday at 11:00 am with picnic luncheon at the home.
