William “Buddy” E Davidson 87, husband of Frances Davidson, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. He is a Greenville native and the son of the late William Walter Davidson and Pearlie Mae Morris.
He worked as a construction project manager and owned his own hydraulic tool business. He played Basketball for a Greenville Textile Team, North Greenville, Furman University, and Georgia Tech. He always wanted to go the scenic route and enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and family over the years. He was a people person and he could talk about anything. He enjoyed going to the gym in Taylors for the last 10 years or so until he was unable to go due to his health. He loved to learn about the world. He loved to read and often visited the local library. He was at most Greenville High home football games and attend Furman basketball games. He loved spending time with his family and was always ready to go on an adventure.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years; son: Michael Davidson of Greenville; daughter: Carol Lee of Greer; three grandchildren: Heather Lee Everett, Daniel Davidson, and Savannah Davidson; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Worship Center at Taylors First Baptist Church 200 W Main St, Taylors, SC 29687
