William Boyd Culpepper

William Boyd Culpepper, 65, of Travelers Rest, passed away from this world to the next on August 15, 2020, while surrounded by his family. Born on September 6, 1954 in Greenville, SC he was the son of Durant Boyd Culpepper and JoAnne Culpepper. He attended Wade Hampton High School, and then went on to serve our country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his children; William Boyd Culpepper, II, (Amanda White), Matthew Boyd Culpepper, (Angela Powell), Amanda Gail Smith (Wayne Smith) and Nina Murray (Russel Murray). He is also survived by his sister, Rita Campbell (Ray Campbell), nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, as well as the mother's of his children; Linda Culpepper and Joyce Culpepper.
He was predeceased by a sister Phyllis Ann Owens.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, and support. We would also like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital and the staff of McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Pine Creek Old Fashioned Baptist Church, 153 Geneva Memorial Drive, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 at 2:00 PM.
