William Victor Burgan, Jr.

William Burgan, Jr., (Bill or Billy Bob), of Greenville, SC passed away at the age of 78 at home. William enjoyed growing up spending time with his brothers and sisters. Doing crazy things that brothers and sisters do with each other. William was the type that enjoyed life as a loner ( spending time alone). William loved his music, coffee,and his television. He went at the age of 16 and joined and served his country in the United States Air Force. Where he spent 4 1/2 years of his young life. While in the Air Force he was stationed in Texas. From there he went to Iceland where he finished out his time of service. After the military he spent the rest of his life in manufacturing work as a machine operator at various companies until he retired.

William is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ann S. Burgan of Greenville, SC, whom he was very devoted to; his daughter, Kelly M. Burgan of Greenville, SC; his sister, Wanda June Gossett of Greenville SC; his brothers, Robert (Bob) Morris Burgan and sister-in-law Evelyn Harper Burgan of Rock Hill, SC, Kenneth Boyd Burgan and sister-in-law, Lynn Wright Burgan of Greenville SC, Johnny Simpson Burgan and sister-in-law, Heidi Marie Burgan of Savannah Georgia, and sister, Shelia Kay Burgan Rhodes and brother -in-law, Joseph Howard Rhodes of Greenville SC; his brother-in-law, Lewis Smart, Jr. and sister-in-law Patti Smart of Easley SC. He was proceeded in death by his father William V. Burgan Sr. , his mother, Vina Lambert Burgan, and Lowell Dennis Burgan all of Greenville, SC.

A memorial will be held by the family at Truth Mission Baptist Church. The family is at their respective homes.
