William Walter (Bill) Edwards

William Walter (Bill) Edwards passed away on October 7, 2014 at Greenville Memorial unexpectantly from a massive heart attack. Bill was only 45 and is deeply loved and missed by his family.

Bill was born in Jacksonville, Florida at the Jacksonville Navel Base on April 14, 1969. Bill was the first child to proud parents Vernon C. and Kathy N. Edwards.

Bill loved his job as a commercial electrician and was also a excellent artist. Bill was a very proud husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. The two greatest accomplishments in Bill's opinion were his Daughter Felica and his son Curtis, he was so happy to be their father. Bill was always involved in every part of their lives.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Vernon C. Edwards, which was so proud of his son for everything he did, especially the fact that Bill had followed in his foot steps has an electrician. Bill was that guy you really wanted to have has a friend. He would go out of his way to help anyone. His sister Christine has said he was  "the best big brother" anyone could ever have had, he protected her always. Bill was very devoted to his family and will be extremely missed by all that had the blessed opportunity to have met him.

Bill is survived by his wife of 22 years Terry Dewitt Edwards that blessed him two children. He is also survived by his daughter Felica Edwards Owens (Jonathan), which had also blessed Bill with his first Grandchild Mary Margaret. Bill is survived by his son Curtis Ray Edwards. Bill is also survived by his mother Kathy Nix Edwards and his baby sister Christine Edwards Douglas (Kelvin).

A special thanks to his wife Terry for never leaving his side no matter how bad times got for them.  Also to the  Cremation Society of South Carolina- Westville Funerals, for their services and for seeing that my brother Bill was cremated with the grace and dignity that he deserved.
