William Boyce Bean

William Boyce Bean, 77, passed away on July 19th, 2021, in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and uncle to many nieces, nephews and a loyal friend. His love was apparent.
He was born in Spindale, North Carolina on February 3rd, 1944 to Kenneth and Anzie Bean. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Bean, his daughter Susan Bean Candee & son-in-law, Michael T. Candee; his grandson, Michael Bennett Candee; his brother, John P. Bean and sister-in-law, Brenda M. Bean; his sister, Eugenia(Gena) Bean Wallace and his brother-in-law, Arch Wallace III. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who were very special and loved by Bill. Bill had many hobbies. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, music and fly fishing. Bill was fun loving and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandson Bennett. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Brian Ellis Bean and his brother, James Kenneth Bean. A Memorial Service will be held on July 22nd, at 2:00pm at Earle Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Earle Street Baptist Church Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association @ ALS.org.
