William Ronald Allison “Ronnie”, 70, of 45 Smith Street, Ware Shoals, SC, passed away on March 14, 2023, at Self Regional, Greenwood, SC with his family at his side.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be announced soon. Ronnie was born in Greenwood, SC to William Milford Allison, decorated WWII Veteran, and Francis King Allison on October 22, 1952. He attended Ware Shoals High School. He retired from a successful career of being the Technical Sales Manager for Van De Wiele-IRO for 36 years. This was an important position that took him all over the world for the company. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam war. Ronnie was also an accomplished poet musician singer-songwriter. He was proud of hiking the Appalachian Trial, as he had a deep love for the mountains and nature.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his beloved parents, and by his younger brother, Steven Michael Allison. Ronnie was a widower with the passing of his wife, Pamela Allison. Also, by his four cherished Golden Retrievers. Ronnie is survived by his daughter Krystal Alana Allison of Pheonix, Arizona; daughter Carmen Allison Pagliari (husband Nick) of Portland, OR; and son Stephen Craig Allison of Altoona, Pennsylvania. Stepdaughter Miranda Mitchell Allen of Piedmont, SC. Sister, June Allison Roark of Ware Shoals; Sister Linda Allison Peters of Mauldin, SC; Sister Donna Allison Williams of Williamston, SC; and brother Stanley Marcus Allison of Guntersville, AL. Grandsons Nikiah Potts, and Arlo and Sonny Pagliari. Grandsons Preston and Austin Allison, and Granddaughter Arianna Allison. Also, several nephews and nieces.
