Red was a father to his son, Willie William Ables, and his daughter, Bridgette Michelle Ables. His love for his family was evident in the joy he found in his grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Cody, Jakob, and Michael, and his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Paisleigh, Josie, and Hazel. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Red was a proud graduate of Key West High School, where he developed his love for adventure and his strong work ethic. He carried these traits into his professional life, dedicating 27 years of service to the Parker Sewer District. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated worker who always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share.
Outside of his professional life, Red was a passionate motorsports enthusiast. He was a regular at the Greenville Pickens Speedway, where he was known for his fearless stock car racing. His love for speed and adventure also extended to motocross racing, a hobby that brought him immense joy and excitement.
Red's adventurous spirit was matched only by his selfless love for his family and friends. He was a man who lived his life to the fullest, always ready for the next adventure, yet never forgetting the importance of family and the joy of simple moments spent with loved ones.
