Wendy Revan Carter

Wendy Revan Carter, 42, of Taylors SC passed away January 15, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. Wendy was born on February, 8, 1980 to Donald Revan (Ellen) of Greer, SC and Kathy Browder (Mike) of Lyman. She is survived by her loving husband, Otis Carter; her children Kimberlee Simpson and Marcus Revan Carter; step-children Shade Benett, Wesley Smith, and Caleb Carter; her brother, Derek Revan (Holly); sister Brittany Peters (Neal); step-grandmother Louise J. Culbreth, of Landrum; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts - it was a large and loving family.

Wendy was preceded in death by her brother Donald Revan Jr.; paternal grandparents Ellis and Isabell Revan; maternal grandparents Sammy and Christine Solesbee; and great-grandmother "Grandma Mary".

Wendy was a beautiful soul, as kind, caring, and loving as one could be. She was supportive, generous, and she never knew a stranger. Her smile lit up the room - the party didn't start until Wendy arrived. Her bright light lit up the room and her incredible smile was contagious. Wendy lived every day to the fullest, and brought out the best in everyone around her.

Wendy treasured every moment with her family - her family was her everything. She loved to shop and she loved to travel, especially to the beach. On her latest vacation, she was full of life and laughter with her husband, Otis, by her side on the beaches of California.

She leaves behind a large and loving family, and numerous close friends from over the years.
