Wayne E. Adams, 65, of Greenville, SC, passed away on January 2, 2024. Born on June 9,1958, in Savanah, GA, Wayne was a kind-hearted individual with a love for animals. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Jaqueline Adams, his mother, Ann Daughtry, and his siblings, Mike (Jane) Adams, Kim (Gwen) Adams, and Chip (Michelle) Adams, Shirley (Vernon) Holland and Kathy (Daniel) Clark. Daughter, Jennifer (Lonnie) Kessler, and his four grandchildren, Dillon, Emily, Lucas, and Cooper. He was also blessed with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Wayne served in the Navy for three years but was most proud of the ten years he spent as a contractor working alongside his many military friends in the Iraq and Afghanistan green zone during the global war on terrorism.
In accordance with Wayne’s wishes, there will be no services held. However, in leu of flowers, contributions can be made to Greenville Animal Care in his memory. Wayne had a deep passion for animals, and supporting this cause would be a meaningful way to honor his memory.
The loss of Wayne leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones and friends. May his kind and compassionate spirit live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to have know him.
