Wallace Glenn Willard

Wallace Glenn Willard, son of the late Carlos and Elizabeth Willard, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his siblings Carlos Willard, Robert Willard, and Carolyn Sears. Wallace is survived by his wife, Shannon Willard; his children Adelyne Willard, Melissa Willard Jones (Bryan), Michael Willard (Shannon); grandchildren Mathew Jones and Lachland Willard; his sisters, Sheila Willard and Sharon Jones; his brother, Charlie Willard (Robin); his nieces Alexis Willard and Amanda Jones; and his nephew Hunter Willard.

Wallace was an accomplished musician, who enjoyed playing bass in his band, Stryder Lee. They played rock and roll and old school country. He was a lover of history, particularly the Civil War. He enjoyed watching documentaries on the History Channel. When he wasn’t watching his history programs, he could be found cheering on his beloved Alabama football team. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his girls. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his kindness, and his commitment to his family.

The family will receive friends at the residence on Saturday, March 18, from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
