Vernon H. " Dink " Coggins

Vernon Coggins (Dink) passed away into Gods loving embrace at Greenville Memorial Hospital on Friday August 10th, 2018. He was born in Greenville County to Harrison Lee and Annie Ruth Coggins. He resided in Marietta most of his life, working many years at JPS. He was a kind hearted person helping anyone out he could. In addition, he loved spending most of his time with his family. He was an avid dog lover and spent many hours watching his favorite tv shows with his fur babies. Surviving are sisters, Lucille Dunn, Juanita Coggins, Marie Vance, Gladys Postin, Bertha Selinger, brothers Theron Coggins, and James Marchant. Deceased sisters, Polly Banks, and Annie Ruth Sherryl. He had many loving nieces and nephews and was also very close to nieces Diane Winchester, Allison Williams and long time family friend and roommate Donald Townsend.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Peace Maker Fellowship on Tugaloo Road in Travelers Rest, SC by Steve Randolph. Any donations can be given to Lucille Dunn or Steve Randolph.
