Vera H Carroll LAURENS, SC-- Vera Hortense Carroll, widow of Warren Carroll, passed away on January 12, 2016. Born in Rockville Centre, NY, she was a resident of Laurens, SC, for the past 16 years. She was a retired postal clerk and a baptized member of the Laurens Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving is one sister: Claudette Louise Helm. Ten other siblings predeceased her. Also surviving are three of her four children: Leslie Alan Carroll (wife- Bernice), Judith Arlene Kearney (husband- Robert Michael), and Gloria (aka Ria) Anita Cunningham (husband- Gerald). Predeceased by her son, Warren Boyd Carroll. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Preston Ian Carroll, Michele Renee McCarthy, Emmanuel Everett Jackson, Dustin Mallory Jackson, James Alexander Kearney, Sean Brandon Kearney, Aaron Michael Kearney, and also, four great-grandchildren.
