Mrs. Valerie Wood - Wilson

Valerie Wood - Wilson, of Greer, SC, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Vangy Lee Valentine and Ernest Wood and was born on June 20,1964 in Greenville, South Carolina. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dwayne Wilson; her daughter, Mikala Danielle Wilson; her brothers, Ernest Jr. (Cassandra) Wood, Wayne (Linda) Wood, and Chavar Wood; her niece, TaMarrah Wood and four nephews, Jonathan Wood, Terrance (Kenyatta) Sweeney and Eric (Jessica) Wood; Great nieces and nephews go as followed; Ariana and Terrance Sweeney Jr. of Terrance & Kenyatta Sweeney as well as Jaden, Cadence, and Layla of Eric & Jessica Wood. As well as many loving cousins and friends.

A memorial service to remember and honor Valerie's Life will be at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the Chapel of the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road in Greenville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. Until 7:00 P.M. As well as following the service.
