Valerie Lynn Smith

Valerie “Val” Lynn Smith, 55, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. A native of Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Ray Smith, Sr., and Isabelle Brown Smith. She attended Israel Metropolitan CME Church, enjoyed cooking, and was the life of the party.
She is survived by her sons, Darnell (Chelsey) Gregory, DJ (Shalona Chamberlain) Gregory, and Corey (Shaniqua) Gregory; daughter-in-law, Lola Gregory; siblings, Ruby (Rocky) Falston, Melissa Green, Patricia Smith, Elliott Smith, Betty (Victor) Hales, and William Ray Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Mario, Rya, Traye, Zy, JK, CJ, Fatty, Moody, Nana, and Omari; sister-in-law, Karen (Walter) Scott and cousin, Patricia McCullough.
