Tyler David Van Meter passed from this life Monday April 27, 2020 in
Greenville, South Carolina.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Tyler’s family later relocated to Greenville,
South Carolina. Tyler was a graduate of the Wil Lou Grey School in
Columbia, South Carolina.
Tyler was best known for his gentle smile and willingness to lend a
helping hand to anyone with any task, big or small. He enjoyed many
outdoor activities including fishing, walking and hiking, but perhaps his
greatest enjoyment in life came from any activity involving trucks, mud,
and his close friends Jordan Scott and Clinton Berryhill.
In addition to Tyler’s father, Vince Van Meter of Greenville, South
Carolina. He is also survived by his mother, Paula Van Meter of
Hendersonville, North Carolina. Siblings; Taylor and Lauren Van Meter,
Lindsay Dennis, and Hunter MacKenzie. Niece; Ava Easler, and nephew
Grey Van Meter.
The family will be holding a private memorial celebration on May 9,
2020.
