Tracy Leigh Brown

Tracy Leigh Brown, known affectionately as Tracy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, in Easley, South Carolina, at the age of 51. Born on February 19, 1972, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tracy's vibrant spirit and compassionate soul touched the lives of all who knew her.

Tracy was a dedicated mother, a cherished sister, and a loving partner. Her children, Emily, Kacy, and Clayton Brown, were the light of her life, and she embraced every moment with them. Her unwavering love and support were the foundation of their family. Tracy's commitment to family extended to her brother, Josh Lawrence, and Brother-in-law Thomas Sorrells, and her sisters, Trudy Sorrells, Terry Jones, and Sister-in-law Sonja Greco with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Her fiancée, Eric Carlson, stood by her side, providing love and comfort through all of life's twists and turns.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jeannie Lawrence, whom she missed dearly Tracy's memory will live on through her nieces, Robyn Jones, Rachel Jones, Kayleigh Morris, Amanda Morris, Jamie Vaughn, and Charity Wilkerson, as well as her nephews, Stephen, Chris, and Michael Wilkerson, who will continue to cherish the moments they spent with their remarkable aunt.

Tracy's educational journey culminated in earning an Associate's Degree in Accounting, which reflected her meticulous and organized nature. Tracy's passion for nurturing extended into her spiritual life as a Sunday School teacher, where she shared her faith and kindness with young minds. Her career path led her to become a school bus driver, a role in which she ensured the safety and well-being of countless children, earning the respect and gratitude of the community.

Those who knew Tracy will remember her as a wonderful wife and a loving mother. Her selfless and passionate approach to life was evident in everything she did. Whether she was cooking her favorite recipes or singing her heart out, Tracy did so with enthusiasm and joy. Her playful side shone brightly when she played with Barbie dolls with her children, creating memories that they will forever hold dear.

Tracy's love for the color purple and tie-dye patterns was more than a style choice—it was a reflection of her vibrant personality and her ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures.
