Toriano Adaryl Barton, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 47 from injuries sustained in a tragic house fire in Greenville, South Carolina on June 24, 2023. Born on July 6, 1975, also in Greenville, Toriano was a figure of warmth and laughter in the lives of his family, friends, and community. Toriano was the proud son of his mother, Kay Barton, and the cherished grandson of the late Ben Barton. He was a supportive and loving brother to Doreon and Keon Barton. Toriano's family was his greatest pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy in his nine children: Akayla Barton, Darius Barton, Latia Hawkins, Delvante' Barton, Angel Mosely, Tamia Patterson, Dadrek Barton, Takara Patterson, and Tyquira Chapman, 2 Granddaughters Ziya Wallington & McKenzie Hawkins and several aunts and cousins. Toriano attended Berea High School, where he built a strong foundation for his future. He carried this spirit of dedication into his career at Taylors Windows, where he served loyally for over 15 years. His co-workers appreciated his commitment and admired his work ethic, describing him as a reliable and hardworking colleague. Known for his friendly and adventurous spirit, Toriano never met a stranger. He was always ready with a joke, and his light-hearted humor brought joy to those around him. He had an infectious laughter that could light up a room and a knack for making others feel comfortable and welcomed. His love for video games, especially Grand Theft Auto and Wrestling, was well known among his friends and family. He was a man who truly knew how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Toriano embodied this quote by living his life to the fullest, and his impact on those around him was profound. His funny and friendly nature endeared him to all, and he will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for his family, and his dedication to his work.
