Toni Stokes, 51, wife of Lee “Gismo” Stokes, passed from this life Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina Toni is a daughter of Faye Lopreste (Mickey) and the late Carmen Lopreste, Sr. For those who knew Toni, you would know how deep her faith is and what a fighter she was and you would have been a benefactor of her compassion.
Left to cherish her memory include her mother, husband, children, Crystal Bennett, Daniel Bennett (Danielle), Cameron Black (Brittany), April Smith (Dean), Stacey Twiss (Justin), Scooter Stokes (Tori), siblings, Carmen Lopreste, Jr. (Charlene), Anthony Lopreste, Michael Lopreste (Michelle), James Lopreste, Renee Walker (Jerry), Theresa Dees, sixteen grandchildren, twelve nieces and nephews.
Toni was predeceased by her father and a son Charles Stokes.
A service to honor Toni will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 2 pm until 5 pm at the home, 302 South Academy Street, Williamston, South Carolina 29697. Parking will be available across the street at the church.
