Mrs. Tonda Dixon Vial

Tonda Dixon Vial passed away on March 10, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Craig Vial of Hickory Tavern. SC, her three children, Jennifer Mathews (Rick) of Greenville, SC, Joe Vial of Charleston, SC, and Katie Vial Miller (Jared) of Anderson, SC., and her sister Pat Donaldson of Tampa, FL. She was predeceased by her brother Roger Dixon. She leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren Brady, Sawyer, Kinsley and Conner. Tonda passed peacefully in her home that her and Craig built together, with him by her side. Dedicating over 35 years to her life’s work of teaching, her flare and passion for education and science was unparalleled. The impact she had on generations of students will be felt for many generations to come. She bravely fought her disease with dignity and the ferocity that only she could possess. A life well lived. It was because of her and her family, Rock Steady Boxing of Greenville was founded and continues to help many other people who suffer from Parkinson’s Disease. Memorial service is to be held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 23rd at 2 PM.
