Tina Jo Ammons

Tina Jo Arrowwood Ammons was born July 18, 1963, and peacefully passed March 11, 2021, in LaFrance South Carolina. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island to the late James Calvin Arrowood and Evelyn Linda Arrowwood.

Jo leaves behind a loving husband Greg Ammons, as well as a previous husband Randy Thomas who is the father of her kids, Thomas Klein and Jessica Paige. Jo had three sisters, Linda Gail Arrowwood West, Kimberly Renee Arrowood Stone, and Traci Lynn Arrowood Smith. Jo is predeceased by her grandparents Major Lewis Robinson and Doris Floride Robinson. Jo left behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

As she was affectionately known, Tina Jo, "Jo" was a fun-spirited soul who took on many passions. One of which was her love of cats. Jo found comfort and peace in caring for and loving as many of them as she could throughout her lifetime.

Jo was a beautiful person, sister, Mom, daughter, and wife, inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on so many lives.

Jo was an overcomer. She fought through so many personal battles and always seemed to go first onto the battlefield of life's problems.

She was fiercely protective of all the ones she loved and often took the "medicine" others rightly deserved.

Jo was a strong fighter, but she is now sailing on a journey to shores that we cannot see. We know that she is free of all pain and is floating peacefully.
