Timothy Russell " Timmy " Gilstrap

Timothy Russell “ Timmy “ Gilstrap, 52, of Westminster, S.C., passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his residence. Born in Pickens, S.C., he was the son of the late Willard Ello and Sarah (Bowen) Gilstrap. Timmy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Donnie and Tony Gilstrap. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Rebecca Gilstrap, of the home; three children he raised as his own, Mary Jackson and husband, Ricky of Westminster; George “ Guy “ Simmons and wife, Jennifer of Westminster and Clyde Simmons of Port Bass; his three grandchildren, Andru Eller, Jacob Simmons and Kenneth Simmons; his sister, Kathy Cassell of Pickens and his brother, Randall Gilstrap of Liberty.

A memorial service to celebrate Timmy’s life will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the family residence, 130 Little Choestoea Road, Westminster, South Carolina 29693.
