Thomas Edward Powell

POWELL, Thomas Edward, age 61, formerly of Campobello, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was born December 23, 1959, in Dublin, Georgia to Mary Jean and William Claude Powell. He was married to Georgiaette Powell. He worked as a roofing and siding contractor with Smith Siding throughout his life. Thomas truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: woodworking, gardening, cracking jokes, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Thomas never met a stranger and was loved by so many people. He was predeceased by his father William Claude Powell and grandson Skyler Powell. He is survived by his wife Georgiaette; his mother Mary Jean Powell Ball (JD); two brothers Jack and John Powell; children Tammy (Jon) Taylor, Jamie Powell, Chad Powell, Justin (Victoria) Shults, Jenna (Dalton) Powell, and Jesse (David) Heffner; his many grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives Thomas touched are invited to The Well, 395 W. Rutherford St., Landrum, SC 29356, from 5 pm-7 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021, to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
