Thomas Lowell Hicks

Thomas Lowell Hicks was born January 14 1940. He entered Heaven on March 4, 2023 . He is preceded in death by his father , G. Raymond Hicks; mother Anna E. Bowen; brother William "Bill" Hicks; sister Lois Andrews; and brother Edd Bowen. Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary D. Hicks; brother Chris Bowen (Sharon); daughter Beth Ann Hicks; granddaughter Lauren Paige Laughter; and Grandson Thane Thomas Hicks.
Tom was a Beloved brother, husband, father and Papa. He loved nothing more than to be with his family, and play sports, such as basketball, golf ,bowling, archery and baseball - he was excellent at them all.
He loved to create in his workshop. He was a very talented woodworker, and made several toys, bookshelves, music boxes, and many other things for friends and his church.
He worked for General Motors as a tinsmith for over 30 years. He was married to Mary On September 11, 1965. They had one child, Beth Ann, and the three of them were the closest that anyone has ever been.
He loved nothing more than to make people laugh, he always had a joke or an anecdote to share. He loved vintage cars.
He loved his two grandbabies, Lauren and Thane, more than anything.
He had the bluest eyes , brightest smile, and the kindest heart. He never met a stranger. He was the picture of stoicism, kindness and Christianity.
He will be deeply missed.
