Thomas Franklin Dodd

July 23, 1933 — December 15, 2017

Thomas Franklin Dodd, 84, husband of Jemay Rogers Dodd of 2603 East North Ave died on December 15, 2017 at Richard Campbell Nursing Home . Born in Pickens County on July 20,1933 to the late Charley and May Smith Dodd. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Westpoint Stevens after 35 Years. He also worked for American Securities.

In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Kathie S. Bradshaw (Tommy) of Anderson SC, Becky Beatty of Richland, SC; sons, David Simpson and Timmy Simpson of Westminster, SC. He was preceded by a grandson, Bert L. Gay and a daughter, Susan S. Thomason. He was the last known survivor of his immediate family.

A memorial service will be held at M. J. “ Dolly “ Cooper Cemetery on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00pm. The family will be at the home of Kathie and Tommy Bradshaw 2603 East North Ave. Anderson SC 29625 where you may visit after the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials be made to American Legion, Post 184, P. O. Box 364, Anderson SC 29622-0364
