Thomas Allen Carraway

Peacefully and surrounded by family and friends, Thomas Allen Carraway, passed away on November 24th , 2024 at the age of 78 years, in Gray Court, South Carolina.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Debbie Carraway; his daughter, Kimberly Berg (Vernen Berg); sister, Sandy Gordon (John Gordon); as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, James Carraway; parents: (Genevieve & Robert Kennedy) and (Harold Carraway).

Aside from his family, coaching was his passion. He was the Athletic Director/Football coach at Florida Air Academy and Assistant Football coach at Palm Bay High School in Florida where he grew up.

He is most remembered for his time with the West Melbourne Youth Football Association, where he coached the West Melbourne Cowboys to an undefeated season and Super Bowl Champions. He had an impressive 129-42-3 record during his time with the Cowboys and is still honored with an Appreciation Award given in his name.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff and therapists at NHC Healthcare at Laurens in South Carolina for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
