Thomas Earl Ballenger
October 12, 1963 — March 3, 2023
Thomas Earl Ballenger, Jr. 59, of Traveler Rest South Carolina, passed away at home on March 3, 2023, from Lung Cancer. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his loss. He is survived by his immediate family, Juanita (Mother), Tammy (sister), and Lawrence and Cody (brothers) along with three adult children: David, Hunter, Scheyenne, and two daughters in laws and four grandchildren.
Tom worked for Mark Michaels, Inc. located in Greenville. His knowledge, talent and love of woodworking was an amazing gift. He graduated from Palmer High School, Palmer Alaska in 1982 and through the years he enjoyed fishing, cooking, and making friends wherever he went. Tom’s antics were legendary and those who knew him have their own stories to tell. Tom truly loved Alaska, and so to honor his memory and final wishes we are returning him to the lakes and mountains he loved.
In lieu of flowers, or memorial service, he asked that donation be made to the American Lung Association.
