Theresa Ortega McIntyre, 100, of Taylors, died Monday, February 6, 2017
Born in San Marcial, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Ismael and Manuelita Ortega. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gwyn Lee McIntyre; one grandson, Joshua Scott McIntyre; six sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Maxine Gibson of Dallas, TX; two sons, Gary Michael McIntyre (Rita) of Taylors, SC; Donald Winston McIntyre (Nancy) of Taylors, SC; nine grandchildren, Kelly Suzanne Gibson (Alex); Christopher James Gibson (Julie); Casey Lee Gibson (Hanna); Bryon Madison McIntyre (Trayce); Scott Douglas McIntyre (Leslie); Jena Louise Schrader (Isaac); Sarah Katharine Kenefsky (Mike); Jenny Rebecca Ritter (Brad); Ryan Patrick McIntyre (Kristi), and twenty-two great-grandchildren, Claire, Carter, Ella, Rebekah, Kiely, Ian, Madilynn, Ellison, Ethan, Lane, Colt, Peyton, Zac, Sadie, Graham, Ben, Jude, Ezra, Milo, Brady, Shiloh and Boheme.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL at a later date.
Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals is assisting the family.
