Terry D Knight

Terry D. Knight, son of the late Willie and Juanita Knight, passed away at his Piedmont home, with his wife, Debra, at his side on January 27th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Knight, of Easley, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Head; sister, Alice Duncan (Junior); daughter, Missy Knight; step-daughter Laurie Liljestrand (Chad); grandson, AJ Haney; granddaughters Kassie Puras (Jack) and Summer Haney; and four great-grandchildren.

Terry was born and raised in Greenville, SC, and was a lifelong resident of the Upstate. Terry cherished his many friendships, and he never knew a stranger. His magnetic personality won over anyone that he came into contact with. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Debra for over 23 years.

Terry was a true gearhead. A mechanic by trade, he loved working on and racing his car, his motorcycle, dirt bikes, and basically anything else that had an engine. Not only did he love what he did, but he was also darn good at it – winning too many trophies to count!

When he wasn’t working or racing, Terry enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He particularly cherished his time with his grandson, AJ. The two were nearly inseparable.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 12th, at 12pm at Cremation Society of SC – Westville Funerals, with a comital to follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens at 3pm. There will be no reception following the service.
