Terry Anderson

Terry Anderson, a beloved member of the Marietta, SC community, passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 63. He was the son of Robert Haven Anderson and Elsie Marie Saunders and was born on June 21, 1959, in Franklin, NC.

Terry is survived by his children, Amber Anderson (David Arthur Aguilar) and Andrew Anderson, as well as his grandchild, Oliver Arthur-Anderson. He is also survived by his siblings, Josephine Anderson, Cathy Baker, Kaye Skinner, and Randy Anderson.

Terry was preceded in death by his son Derek Anderson, as well as his siblings Tommy Anderson and Ann Anderson. Despite these losses, Terry remained a pillar of strength for those around him, and his infectious laughter and warm smile will be deeply missed.

Terry spent the last seven years of his life working as a large machinery maintenance technician with Engineered Product. He was skilled and dedicated to his craft, and his work ethic was an inspiration to his colleagues.

In his free time, Terry enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including metal and woodworking, bicycling, gardening, and being in and near bodies of water. He was known for his quick wit and his ability to make anyone laugh, no matter the situation.

Terry was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served his country with honor and distinction.

Terry Anderson will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched during his time on this earth. Rest in peace, Terry, and thank you for your service and your many contributions to our community.
