Teri McConnell, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023, in Greenville, SC. Born on September 23, 1960, in Anderson, SC, to the late Berry and Pearl Whitt McElrath, Teri was a beacon of love, laughter, and spirit to all who knew her.

Teri was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing and caring for her family. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, filled with the sounds of laughter and the aroma of home-cooked meals. She was the heart and soul of her family, always ready with a kind word, a comforting hug, or a funny story to lighten the mood.

Teri was a woman of many interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as scrapbooking and rock collecting. Her scrapbooks were a testament to her love for her family, filled with cherished memories and moments captured in time. Her rock collection, a hobby she picked up in her youth, was a reflection of her adventurous spirit and her appreciation for the beauty of nature.

But what Teri loved most was spending time with her friends and family. She was the life of every gathering, her laughter infectious, her spirit contagious. She had a knack for making everyone feel special and loved. Her home was always open, her table always set, her heart always ready to embrace those she loved.

Teri is predeceased by her loving husband, Tim McConnell, survived by her sister, Pat (Ray) Hubbard; her son, Branyon (Karly) McConnell; her daughter, Heather McConnell; her nieces, Kayla Horton, Candace McElrath, and Anna Hubbard; her nephew, Trey Hubbard; her brother, Johnny McElrath; and her grandchildren, Lexi, Graycie, Kassidy, Emma, Teagan, Connor, Sawyer, Harmony, Harley, and Roy. She was predeceased by her parents, Berry and Pearl Whitt McElrath; her brothers, Harold, Doug, and Berry Jr. McElrath; and her sisters, Peggy and Bonnie McElrath.

Teri was a woman of incredible strength and resilience, a woman who faced life's challenges with grace and courage. She was a beacon of light in the lives of those she loved, her presence a source of comfort and joy. She was a woman who loved deeply, laughed freely, and lived fully. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, a testament to a life well lived.

Teri McConnell will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, laughter, and spirit will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. Her life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of family, and the beauty of friendship. She was a woman who lived her life with passion and purpose, a woman who made the world a better place simply by being in it. She will be remembered with love and gratitude, her memory a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
