Teresa Renee Harkins, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away on April 18, 2025, in her hometown of Greenville, SC, where she was also born on December 24, 1960. Known affectionately as Teresa to her friends and family, she lived a life characterized by selflessness and an unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

Teresa's journey began in Greenville, where she grew up surrounded by the warmth of a close-knit community. Her life was a testament to the power of love, as she embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and devotion. Teresa's home was always filled with laughter, the aroma of home-cooked meals, and the joy of family gatherings. She was the heart of her family, a loving Nana, whose presence was a comforting constant.

The legacy Teresa leaves behind is rich with the love she poured into her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mike Harkins, who passed away in 2019, her mother Norma J. Hembree, and her cherished sons, Michael Harkins and Chris Wilbanks. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring grandchildren, Willow, Bella, Chloe, Trey, and Devin, as well as her step-daughter, Crystal Davis, and daughter, Tasha Harkins. Each of them was touched by Teresa's boundless love and will carry forward her spirit of generosity.

A memorial for Teresa will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at New Life Baptist Church in Greenville SC at 2:00 PM.
