Teddy McArthur Bryant

Teddy McArthur Bryant, 80, of Dante, VA, passed away on August 15, 2022. He was born on April 6, 1942, in Trammel, VA, to the late Charles Durante Bryant and Sarah Ethel Kiser. Ted was employed with Norfolk Southern Railway for thirty-four years as a foreman and also served proudly in the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking, charity work, ministry, and gardening. Ted served as an evangelist for fifty-two years spreading the word of God. Ted is survived by his son Charles Bryant (Rene); grandchildren: Ashley McElrath, Joshua Bryant, Morgan Overton, Breanna Howard, and Alyssa Bryant; five great-grandchildren; and siblings: Bob Bryant, Loretta Steele, Lorraine Link, and Marilyn Faber. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Elmer Bryant, Garnetta Horner, Jim Bryant, and Tessy Sexton. Ted will be dearly missed and loved but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
