Ted A Lawson

Ted A Lawson, 78, known affectionately as Ted to his friends and family, passed away peacefully in Greenville, SC, on January 5, 2025, having been born in Salt Lake City, UT. Ted brought laughter and joy to all who knew him, with a personality that could best be described as funny, generous, and endlessly creative.

Ted spent his formative years in the embrace of his loving parents, Thomas A. Lawson and Bernice G. Lawson, who preceded him in death. Surviving him, is his younger brother Chet G Lawson of Anderson. Also surviving him is an only child, Tommy Lawson.

Ted spent many years plying his trade as an automotive mechanic, later applying his meticulous handiwork at Diamond Wire Spring Manufacturing. His nimble fingers were not only skilled at repairing engines but also at model building and coin collecting, both a testament to his dexterity and patience. Ted's culinary skills were no secret either; he relished cooking up a storm for family and friends.

Ted's unique spirit will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to experience his wit, his kindness, and his imaginative flair. He leaves behind a legacy of smiles and a world more beautiful for his presence.
