Tanya Lambert

Tanya Lambert, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, in Simpsonville, SC, at the age of 53. Born on May 6, 1971, in Pretoria, RSA, Tanya was a cherished daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose generosity touched the lives of many.

Tanya grew up in the warm embrace of her loving family. She was the beloved daughter of Marina Van Dalen and the late Cert Stephanus Van Dalen. Her childhood was shared with her brothers, Morne and the late Riaan Van Dalen. Tanya's nurturing spirit was evident from an early age, and it blossomed as she became a devoted mother to her sons, Morne and Luca Lambert. Her family was her pride and joy, and she extended her love and care to her sister-in-law, Tanya Van Dalen, and her nieces, Lyska and Sakia Van Dalen 

Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a BSc in Occupational Therapy. Tanya dedicated her career to working as an Occupational Therapist, where she found great fulfillment in improving the lives of disabled individuals. Her colleagues and patients alike admired her for her dedication and the heartfelt guidance she provided.

Tanya's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her community. She was often described as the glue of the South African community in her adopted home. Her ability to bring people together and her tireless efforts to support those around her were unparalleled. Tanya's interests extended beyond her professional life; she was a passionate friend who always made time for others. Her love for knitting and Bible study were sources of comfort and joy, not only for her but also for those she shared these passions with.

Those who knew Tanya would attest to her kind nature and the generous spirit with which she approached every aspect of her life. She was a woman who gave selflessly, never seeking recognition for her deeds. Her presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire 

As we bid farewell to Tanya Lambert, we celebrate a life lived with immense grace and compassion. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Tanya's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the countless lives she touched with her extraordinary spirit.
