Tamara Woods

Tamara (Tami) Dorene Cooper Woods age 57 of Travelers Rest, SC passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday July 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born December 12, 1959 in Greenville, SC and was the daughter of Maurice Cooper and the late Sara Hoffman Cooper. She attended Parker High and retired from Ingles. Tami was a loving mother and had a heart of gold. She had a wonderful sense of humor and such a sweet smile. She is survived by her sons DJ Woods (Anna), Corey Woods and her daughter Chelsea Woods. Granddaughter Makayla Woods and grandson Jaylan. She is also survived by her sister Teresa Crooks (Carroll), and her very best friend and sister of fifty years Donna Dill Surett. Her brothers Tony Cooper and Tim Cooper (Melinda). She will be missed by her nephews Blake McAbee, Justin McAbee, Neal Cooper, Tyler Cooper, Jayce Kay, Travis Cooper and niece Amanda Cooper. She was preceded in death by her youngest brother Travis Ryan Cooper and husband Don Woods. Tami loved her family and will be forever loved. May she have peace as she spread her wings. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
