Susan Kathleen " Kathy " Green Littlefield

Kathy Littlefield, born on February 25, 1951, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Hospice of The Carolina Foothills in Landrum, following a four-year battle with kidney failure and dementia. She was the daughter of the late Horace Judson Green and Emma Lee Waddell Green and is predeceased by two brothers, Dalton and Steve Green.

Kathy was surrounded in life by her small but loving family, including her daughter, Tammy Trotter Wells, son-in-law, Chris, and a granddaughter, Adrianna Beasley, all of the home. She is also survived by her son, Joel Gregory and his wife, Amber.

Kathy leaves behind a large group of friends and family who followed her daughter’s Facebook updates about the satisfaction and challenges of living with and caring for a parent with dementia. Most of this group know her affectionately as Mumsy and will miss her greatly.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that those who would like to honor Mumsy donate to either the National Kidney Foundation, The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, or to The Hospice of the Carolinas Foothills in Landrum, SC.

A service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2 pm at The Cremation Society of SC on White Horse Road in Greenville. The family will be honored by your presence or visitation at that time.
