Susan Doris Holden, 60, of Piedmont, South Carolina passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. The daughter of the late Walden Griffin & Frances Bailey Holden, Sr., and a lifelong resident of Greenville County, Susan was loved and cared for by her family for many years.
Susan is survived by her son, Ben R. Massey, Jr. (Heather) of Greenville, SC; 4 sisters, Margaret Stonell (Melvin) of Greenville, Betty Ann Garren of Piedmont, Nancy Garren of Liberty, and Vickie Green (Ted) of Greenville; 2 brothers, Walden Holden, Jr. (Irene) of Liberty and Robert “Bobby” Holden (Helen) of Greenville; 4 grandchildren, Cory, Josey, Megan, and Jesse James Moody; 1 great-grandchild, Jamie Moody. The family will be receiving friends Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 1:30 – 3:30 at the Chapel of Westville Funeral Home, 6010 Whitehorse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Please join them as they honor & celebrate Susan’s life. No services will be held, but many loving stories will be told.
