Steven Ross Wood, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, in his childhood home in Greenville SC. He attended East North Elementary, Greenville Middle School and graduated from Greenville High School in 1978. He later got an Associate’s degree from North Greenville Junior College. He worked at IHOP for over 20 years.
Steven was kind, intelligent, had an inquisitive spirit and was quick to help his loved ones in times of need. He will be greatly missed by his family. His hobbies were cooking, sports and computers.
He is survived by his brothers, Christopher Wood of Greenville SC, David Wood and his wife Sharon Wood of Sumter SC, and Tony Tedder and his wife Betty Tedder of Irmo, SC. He is also survived by nephews and nieces: Heidi Wood, Douglas Graham, Catherine Graham, Tony Tedder, Richard Tedder and Katherine Tedder Hahn. Steven is predeceased by his parents, Stanley M. Wood and Doris A. Wood of Greenville and a sister, Joyce Graham of Taylors SC.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
